Well, hello there! It has been quite a while since I have posted anything here. I never set out to take any kind of break, but the last time I posted on here was way back in 2020, which chronologically speaking was only 4 years ago, and yet it feels as if it was an entire lifetime ago. To be perfectly honest, I haven’t done much in the last 4 years. I started a new job working as a gate agent for an airline, which is really fun and entirely soul-sucking. I did start seeing a therapist regularly again, and she thinks that my bipolar II diagnosis may have been a misdiagnosis, but we are still working some things out. I would love to tell you that I have met someone in the last four years; alas, my standards of wanting the bare minimum are still too high, so I remain single. I still live with my parents and spend the majority of my time reading. What can I say? I am a creature of habit, and those habits are staying in bed and hiding away from the world. The TikTok addiction is still going strong and perhaps has taken over my life, as my new love language is sending TikTok to my friends. I basically curate their own For You Page every day; really, the otta starts thanking me. Other than that, my days go by in much the same way as they always have.

In 2024, I hope to at least change some of that. I have a resolution to start saying yes to more things, to do more things, and to make more memories with my friends and family. I want to travel more, see more, do more. Really, my goal is to become the best version of myself that I can possibly be in a year’s time, and I hope to come back to this blog on a more scheduled basis. I have yet to decide (and frankly, I don’t know if I ever will commit to one) on a schedule. You may faithful (imaginary, I’m sure) reader can expect more book reviews, life updates, a Midnight Musings or two, and maybe even a movie review if I’m feeling saucy. I think I am going to try and post at the minimum monthly, but I will aim for weekly, and we shall see where that gets us.
